Racoon
１年ぶりにシンガポール動物園に行ってきました。こちらは日本のタヌキです。
Visited Singapore Zoo after 1 year. This is racoon dog from Japan.
Flower Ring
Flower Domeには内側に花をいっぱい敷き詰めた円筒があります。それを下から見上げるとこんな感じ。
There is a cylinder in the Flower Dome, whose inside is filled with flowers. This is the picture taken by looking it up from the inside.
Flower in the Dome
ガーデンズバイザベイの温室「Flower Dome」内の花を、SEL1670Zの望遠端（70mm・換算105mm）で撮ってみました。このレンズは結構寄れますし、背景も奇麗にボケてくれます。Eマウントのマクロレンズは持ってませんが、代わりに使えそうです。
Shot a flower inside the "Flower Dome" in Gardens by the Bay. Used tele-end of SEL1670Z (70mm, 35mm equiv. 105mm). This lens has very short minimum shooting distance, and provides beautiful bokeh. I don't have macro lens for E-mount but this lens works for it.
Worm in the Garden
森に現れた蟲って感じですが、これは温室なのです。Flower DomeとCloud Forestという２つがあります。
It looks like worm in the forest, but it is a greenhouse. There are two domes, one is Flower Dome and the other is Cloud Forest.
Gardens by the Bay
新しいカメラとレンズの試写を兼ねて、ガーデンズバイザベイに行ってきました。マリーナベイサンズのすぐ近くにある植物園です。
Visited Gardens by the Bay, also tested my new camera and lens. It is the newer botanic garden located near Marina Bay Sands.
α6000 & SEL1670Z
半年ごとにやってくる、物欲の波・・・今回はα6000 (ILCE-6000)とツァイスの標準ズーム、Vario-Tessar T* E 16-70mm F4 ZA OSS (SEL1670Z)です。
STYLUS 1は普段使いにはとっても便利で満足しています。でも、本気で撮影する時には1/1.7のセンサーサイズは画質的にちょっと力不足。手持ちのレンズ資産を生かしつつ既存の機材よりもさらに上の画質を得るため、そして物欲を満たすために決断しました。新年の誓い破りまくりですけど。
Somehow I feel I want to buy new camera every 6 months... this time, I bought Sony's α6000 (ILCE-6000) and Zeiss standard zoom Vario-Tessar T* E 16-70mm F4 ZA OSS (SEL1670Z).
STYLUS 1 is very convenient for daily use and I am satisfied with it. However, 1/1.7 sensor size is not enough when I want to shoot high image quality pictures. While using my good collection of lenses, I wanted to achieve even higher quality images than cameras I currently have (and to fulfil my desire for new products). I've been breaking my new year wishes, though.
Trailing with Monkey
マックリッチーのトレッキングコースを数時間かけて歩きました。林の中を歩いていると、猿たちにであうことができます。
Walked through MacRitchie trekking course for several hours. Met monkeys along this course in the forest.
MacRitchie Reservoir
シンガポールは小さな島ですが、自然もたくさん残されています。そんな自然保護区の一つ、島のほぼ中央部にあるマックリッチーに行ってきました。
Singapore is a small island, but there are many nature reserves. MacRitchie Reservoir is one of them, located at the centre of the island.
Late Night Calm Dinner
食事中のシマウマを撮影したら、肉眼では見えなかったキリンが奥の方に写っていました。
When I took a photo of zebra eating grass, there was also a giraffe in the back which I could not see by my bare eyes.
