Hungry Lions
ナイトサファリに行ってきました。トラムに乗りながらではブレまくって全く撮影できなかったので、降車後に再び歩いて散策。するとライオンの餌付けの時間に遭遇したので、ISO12800の拡張超高感度で撮影。1/1.7のセンサーサイズじゃ常用感度では全く歯が立ちません。後処理でノイズを消すのも、どうしても潰れちゃって難しいですね。
Visited Night Safari. It was impossible to take photo when on the tramcar, so walked around again, then encountered feeding to lions. Shot at super high ISO speed of 12800. No chances with normal ISO speed at all on 1/1.7 sensor size camera. Post-processing to reduce noises was also hard and details were lost.
OI.Share
ずいぶんと間が空いてしまいましたが、再開します。
最近のカメラはほとんどがWifi機能を持っており、各社ともiPhone等モバイル端末で連携するためのアプリを無料で提供しています。ソニー・キヤノン・オリンパスのアプリを使ったことがありますが、オリンパスのOI.Shareがダントツで使いやすく機能も豊富です。
デジカメからの写真の取り込みはたぶんどのメーカーのアプリでも可能でしょう。ライブビューでの撮影・リモコン撮影も多くのアプリで可能です。OI.Shareはそれに加えてGPSログの記録とデジカメの写真への位置情報の埋め込みができます。さらに、オリンパスが誇るアートフィルターを適用して写真加工をすることができます。このフィルターはオリンパスのカメラで撮影した写真に限らず、iPhoneで撮った写真や他社のカメラで撮影してiPhoneに取り込んだ写真に対しても適用することができます。ですので、オリンパスカメラユーザーでない人も、アートフィルターに興味がある人はダウンロードして試してみてもいいと思いますよ。

Recent digital cameras have wifi function, and manufacturers are offering free app for mobile devices like iPhone. I have ever used apps from Sony, Canon, and Olympus, and Olympus's OI.Share is significantly easier to use and having many useful functions.
Probably all apps will let you import photos from your cameras. Live view shooting and remote release will also be available in most apps. In addition to these, OI.Share enables you to log GPS records and embedding them into your photos. Furthermore, Olympus's proprietary art filter can be applied to your photos. It is available not only to those shot by Olympus's but all photos in the device, including iPhone's photos or those imported from non-Olympus cameras. Hence, if you are interested in art filters, even you are not an Olympus user, it may be worth downloading and trying.
Fighting Dinosaurs
マリーナベイサンズの隣、蓮の花の形をしたアートサイエンスミュージアムで開催中の恐竜展です。大人も子供も楽しめます。ホワイトバランスを調整して「帰ってきたウルトラマン」的なイメージに仕上げてみました。（分かるかな？）

CNY Fireworks
新年（旧正月）のカウントダウンと花火をマリーナベイサンズの客室より。絶好のポジションでした。
New year (Chinese/Lunar) count down and fireworks from guest room of Marina Bay Sands. This was the best position to see it!
Night View Over the Pool
旧正月休みにマリーナベイサンズに宿泊しました。宿泊者しか入れない、あの屋上プール。風がきつくてかなり寒かったですが、楽しみました。
Stayed at Marina Bay Sands on Chinese New Year holiday. "Infinity Pool" on the top is exclusive for hotel guests. Very cold due to strong winds, but we enjoyed it a lot.
Angkor Wat by Lego
カンボジアのアンコールワット。有名ですね。そのうちぜひ実際に訪れてみたいと思っています。
Famous Angkor Wat in Cambodia. I do want to visit the real one in near future.
Wat Arun by Lego
タイの「暁の寺」ワット・アルンです。以前に実際に行ったことがあります。そこで撮った記念写真と同じポーズの写真を今回も撮りました（非公開）。
"The Temple of Dawn" Wat Arun in Thailand. I used to visit there before. We took the private picture with the same posture as that time.
Marina Bay by Lego
レゴランド内には東南アジア各国の象徴的な場所・建物をレゴで作ったものがあります。
シンガポールはマリーナベイとクラークキー。マーライオンやシンガポールフライヤーが見事に再現されています。マリーナベイサンズがないのが残念。
In LEGOLAND, symbolic places and buildings in Southeast Asian countries are made by lego.
Marina Bay and Clarke Quay are chosen for Singapore. Merlion and Singapore Flyer are well expressed. They need to make Marina Bay Sands, too!
Tired Man
１月にマレーシア・ジョホールバルにあるレゴランドに行ってきました。
入ってすぐの所にある、ベンチに座る疲れたおじさん。これ以外にも画家さんやらダイバーやら巨大タコやら、面白いオブジェがいっぱい。
Visited LEGOLAND Malaysia in Johor Bahru in January.
This tired man sitting on the bench is near the entrance. There are more objects such as painter, diver, huge octopus, and so on. Very interesting.
New Camera
１ヶ月のご無沙汰でした。来月頭まで留守にするので、今年に入ってから撮った写真はまた帰ってから掲載しますね。
で、新しいカメラを買っちゃいました。オリンパスのSTYLUS 1。コンデジです。
最近特に思うのは、とにかくカメラを持ち歩いてシャッターを切らないと始まらないってことです。重く大きいボディや何本もある交換レンズは、持ち出すのが大変です。特に家族と一緒に出かける時には。適切なレンズを持っていないと撮れない被写体がありますし、またレンズを持っていても交換しているうちにシャッターチャンスを逃すこともあります。
今回STYLUS 1を購入した直接の動機は、旅行に際して荷物を減らすため。レンズ一体型で28mmから300mmまでF2.8通しでカバーできるので、望遠レンズも単焦点レンズも持って行かなくて大丈夫。センサーサイズは小さいので画質とボケは妥協するしかありませんが、それよりもシャッターチャンス重視です。
It has been a month since last update. I will be out of town until early next month, so I will upload new photos in this year after I come back.
I bought a new camera. Olympus STYLUS 1. It's a compact digital camera, not lens interchangeable.
Recently I really think that bringing camera and releasing the shutter is the most important for photo shooting. Big & heavy body and many lenses make me feel reluctant to take out, especially when going out with family. However, some objects cannot be shot without appropriate lens. Even with lenses, shooting chance may be often missed while changing lenses.
Now I bought STYLUS 1 to reduce stuffs for my coming travel. STYLUS 1 covers FF-equivalent 28mm-300mm with constant F2.8. No need to have tele zoom or single focal lenses. The size of the sensor is small and I need to compromise the quality and bokeh. But I want to prioritise not missing the chances.
